For a minute while watching Digimon World: Next Order's new trailer, we were thinking that the monster-taming role-playing game was coming to PlayStation 4 - and then we remembered that it's currently a Vita exclusive. Indeed, the open world that's on display here seems to be of a scale we haven't quite seen before on Sony's handheld. The draw distance looks impressive, and all in all, the whole thing's just enjoyably vast.
In terms of gameplay, taking care of your Digimon will be just as important as training them, and a healthy measure of both love and discipline ensures that they'll digivolve into something suitably powerful. The game's set to release in Japan next year, and with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth coming West in 2016, there's hope of localisation for this one, too.

looks realy good the open world intrests me Hopefully we will get this game too. Also im asuming we will also get the option of Vita and PS4 again if so il get it on PS4.
@Volmun it is only coming to the VITA not the ps4 its a exclusive . maybe in a year or two they will port it but as of now no ps4 version , plus thats great news the vita needs more exclusives as they took gravity rush from the vita and are giving it to the ps4 and same as tearaway , but sony is horrible at supporting there devices if they gave the vita the same love Nintendo does to the 3ds it would kill the 3ds its better in every way from controls to the touch screen and its cheaper if you compare the new 3ds to the vita but sony does not care or support the system. just like the PSTV the gave up in 2 months and now its been $30 for the past 3 months in my area , its a great system and amazing if you don't want to move your ps4 to other TVs because i play my ps4 in the other room through it but hey sony is run horrible of late its like they dont care for any devices but the ps4.
If they bring to PS4 I'll buy, if they don't I'll buy a Vita.
I buy.
Nostalgic! nice throw back to Digimon World...
@godslayer1975 same thing happened to Cyber Sleuth, I bet it will be the same case for this... It will be ported to PS4 to launch in the west..
How good is this game compared to Pokemon? Seems similar, but much more expansive in scope.
@whywai88 basically the point i was trying to make Thanks for wording it out better
@JaxonH well if other Digimon games are to go buy id say the two are not really comparable as there both good although Digimon often vairys allot in gameplay to Pokemon (in mainline games not spinoffs)
@godslayer1975 I Have Both Vita (3G) and 3DS had both from there initial lornch days and have a New3DS Too and I Disagree with the whole point of Vita being better in Every Way for several reasons The controls are rather Iffy.. the shoulder buttons being the worst offenders and the touch screen and touch pad iv had them be totally unresponsive several times also that its the 1st had held machean iv ever had to give me hand cramps i can only play on it with a special harnice thing that Makes it more like a controller shape. Also i do have PSTV too (Got it when it dropped to £40 ish or was it £25.. cant remember but Yeah im quite happy with that love playing SoulSacrfice and Freedom wars on the TV as there touchscreen uses were minimal its not a problem.
