Street Fighter V PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Like a perfectly timed dragon punch, Street Fighter V's up-and-down PlayStation 4 beta clipped the chin of franchise fans overnight, as it went live for a few scant hours. According to the series' official Twitter account, this was due to an internal stress test that publisher Capcom was running, which has now concluded. Exactly when the sample will re-open to the public remains to be seen.

It looks like a second beta is getting closer, though, as the client was recently updated to v1.02, with improvements to the login process and matchmaking logic cited in the patch notes. The previous stress test had to be closed early, after the title's servers crashed. Our man managed to get some time with the game, however, and wrote up some pretty comprehensive impressions, which you can find through here.
