The shock success of Until Dawn appears to have taken even Sony by surprise, as it scrambles to put out trailers and prepare bundles for what's turned out one of the better exclusives on the PlayStation 4. Given the critical mauling that The Order: 1886 received, we can understand why it was sceptical of this one – but at least it can give it another push around Hallowe'en.
The launch trailer is ridiculous by the way – and not in the same manner as the game. In it, a gruff voiceover grumbles about the importance of your decisions, which actually do make a difference in this shlocky affair. As stupid as this game seems I'm actually very much looking forward to playing it eventually.
@Gamer83 me too, I guess I've succumbed to the hype train but it does generally seem a lot better than I'd thought it would turn out
After reading a bunch of good reviews over the last 2 days I was going to pick this up with my other 2 preorders at Gamestop but they were sold out.
@vegeta11 Wow. I wonder if that's just a coincidence, or if Sony really didn't expect this to take off like it appears to be.
@get2sammyb I just stopped at a second gamestop in my area & all are sold out except for a few that are reserves that haven't been picked up yet.
I've already seen several cases of the inevitable PC port-begging.
I'll have to put off getting this until another 2 weeks at least, though. God damn you, MGSV.
@get2sammyb Sounds like S.O.P for Gamestop to me, actually. Get just enough copies for the pre-orders, plus maybe one or two more. They are ALL ABOUT the pre-orders.
@Donald_M Ah ok, I see. I just think it's interesting because they literally announced bundles for the UK a few hours after the review embargo dropped. Maybe this was planned all along, but I get the feeling they weren't sure how this one was going to be received, and now it's got loads of buzz round it they're scrambling to capitalise.
But I could be totally wrong.

I was looking forward to this and hoping it would be as good as it looked. Pre-ordered yesterday after the good reviews and dispatched today - one for the long weekend
