Nathan Drake could very well clamber onto your favourite new-gen format on 9th March, as an updated Amazon Germany listing has potentially spilled the beans on Naughty Dog's inaugural native PlayStation 4 release. Overnight, those with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End pre-orders were emailed about the abovementioned date, while the site even temporarily updated its product page. This information has since been removed.
It's a Wednesday, which is more or less in line with European launch dates; a North American release would probably happen on 8th March, if accurate. And that doesn't seem especially insane to us – after all, the game was originally due out this Christmas before being delayed earlier in the year. Sony launched a big PS4 exclusive in Bloodborne this March, so it does tend to like that slot – especially considering it falls right before the end of its fiscal year.
Honestly, while there's every chance that this could be a mere mistake, we wouldn't be surprised if this date turned out to be accurate. The big question is: can you cope with waiting the remaining six months or so for this release to roll around? At least there'll be Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection to keep you occupied, eh?

can't wait for this game and the Uncharted Collection too, at last i'l be able to play Uncharted 2 without it crashing at a checkpoint in Shambala (every time too it's not a random thing same checkpoint every time, I have to reset the console and it carrys on from the check point so it saves, I think it's a fault on the disc because I don't know of anyone else who has this problem)
@FullbringIchigo definitely sounds like you've got a disc-related issue there, as I've never heard of that either! If it's the exact same spot each time it's got to be that. I remember when I was younger our copy of Nightfire got a scratch on it in such a place that it meant the game froze at the same point of the game every time without fail........during the first mission. I was gutted!
Even if the release date was tomorrow, the wait would still be unbearably long!
I'm even longing to play 1-3 again in the Nathan Drake Collection. I'm deliberately not playing them again on my PS3.
@FullbringIchigo The issue I had with both disc versions of UC2 and UC3 was my PS3 had a hard time recognizing the game. I usually had to load another disc game first then eject that game before loading UC2 or UC3.
@WanderingBullet I never heard of that problem before, sounds a bit strange maybe the problem was with your ps3

I do have an issue that sounds similar, in a room with stairs where there is a big fight. After the fight ends the game freezes.
But it would be nice if it hits on March.

As of late my U3 disc also has a hard time starting sometimes. Any other disc runs fine.
@sinalefa Uncharted 2 was the only PS3 game I ever had a problem with and it was just that one part
I haven't played any of the Uncharted series so I'm looking forward to the HD collection. By the time I'm finished with that, it should be in time for this possible March release.
@sinalefa I get the same problem with Uncharted 2. It didn't happen on my first playthrough, but it happened on everyone after it.
As for the game itself, March can't come soon enough.
Sounds reasonable. So the question becomes, when would we get an official confirmation for a March 8 date, surely they wouldn't wait until PSX in December.
March 8 might make me get a PS4 for Christmas. Not at $400 though. Probably just wait for a bundle. I think we're all in agreement there will be a bundle, yes? Could a new slim be out by then?
Not having a PS3 I'm looking forward to the collection and with all the other stuff coming out, totally happy to wait until at least March!
That extended e3 demo was phenomenal.
That'll give me time to play through the rest of the series quick.
