"Damn you, Dragon's Dogma Online!" we cry as we drop to our knees, knowing full well that Capcom's aware of our plight, yet refuses to give us even a whiff of a Western release. The massively multiplayer online role-playing game finally launches in Japan in just a few days, so the publisher's rolled out a launch trailer to remind us that it's supposed to be a really, really good game.
While we sit here and sob, feel free to check out the video for yourself. Western players who managed to sneak into the Japanese beta of the title returned with promising reports, so we can only assume that the full release is going to be great. It is worth mentioning, though, that with a Japanese PlayStation Network account, you can potentially get stuck into the free-to-play adventure as long as you can actually understand what's going on. Worth a shot, we reckon.

I'm going to just keep acting liking this isn't a real thing. That way I don't feel like I'm missing out.
@Splat A solid strategy.
Stupid Capcom =(.
I think it was Game Informer who interviewed Capcom back in January and Capcom said that they have no plans for a Western release. Gonna wait for reviews and if it's easy to play and the game mechanics are easy to understand, I might just try to get the JP version.
Don't bother downloading it on an American console with a Japanese PSN. Yes the game will download, but it won't play.
