The Dark Souls series isn't for the faint of heart - you all know that by now - but that hasn't stopped the series from racking up over 8.5 million sales. From Software's deadly franchise first appeared on the PlayStation 3, with the first game being a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls - which is still quite difficult to type.
It's no wonder that the series is getting a third instalment, then, but are you a fan of the franchise? How many hours have you put into these titles combined? Mutter something about these games being difficult and dying in the comments section below.

Still never played a Souls game for than half an hour (and that was Demon's). After thoroughly enjoying my time with BB, I fully intend to pick up DS1 at some point, it's just a case of finding the time!
Bloodborne has converted me.
After a quick look on DS 2 for pc, i git BB and felt totally in love with it. After beating the monster I am actually sink into Scholar of First Sin, in love again. I believe From has a new aficionado from now on...
