Street Fighter V's hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 beta has been KO'd by some pretty nasty server issues. The test was set to launch overnight, but Capcom's servers quickly crashed. Excitable series overlord Yoshinori Ono swiftly apologised for the issues on Twitter, explaining that it would be working to resolve things through until 03:00AM PDT/11:00AM BST – but it's still broken as far as we can tell.
Of course, this is the whole point of a beta, so we can forgive the hiccups as long as they're ironed out before launch. The publisher said that it will be extending the test to make up for lost time, so you certainly won't miss out on anything – well, apart from sleep if you decided to stay up late in order to squeeze in a few rounds before bed.
