You could have made an argument that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round's downloadable content had gone too far months ago, but now it's really becoming difficult to defend its business model. Announced today on its official Twitter account, Koei Tecmo's releasing a second season pass for the brawler that'll be available on the 22nd July, and it'll come with an exclusive secret agent outfit for Honoka.

Now, we don't have any qualms with those who like to splash out on the game's many premium costumes. Last Round's a good looking title - especially on PlayStation 4 - and it must be nice to add a bit of variety to each match, but it's the sheer amount of available DLC that's slightly troubling - not to mention how expensive it all is. The release's first season pass, for example, currently costs a whopping £73.99. That said, it turns out to be considerably cheaper than buying whole sets individually, as they can range from £11.99 to £24.99.

Still, if you wanted access to every new costume, you'd be dishing out a huge amount of dosh either way - far more than the cost of the actual game. In that sense, it seems a bit unbelievable that the release is getting another season pass.

What do you make of all this? Are you sitting there shaking your head, or do you think that the title's DLC policy's not all that bad? Dress yourself up in the comments section below.
