Not to be confused with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which has been confirmed for a Western release on PlayStation 4 and Vita next year, Digimon World: Next Order takes cues from certain PSone title that some of you 90s kids may remember.
Launching in Japan as a Vita exclusive at some point in 2016, we've got our first look at Next Order thanks to a pretty great little teaser trailer. Ramping up some nostalgia with a few quick nods to the aforementioned PSone game, Digimon World, it would seem as though this new instalment would like to be considered as something of a reboot.

It looks like a relatively open title that's all about exploring the digital world with your digimon partner, and the best part is that with Cyber Sleuth making its way to our shores, we reckon that there's a decent chance of us getting this in the future, too. Check out the video and let us know if you're always up for more Digimon in the comments section below.

I actually prefered Digimon World 3(2003 in PAL, which added an after-game content) than the first and second one... It was a more traditionnal RPG with OH SO GOOD musics... hoping for a release in the same way as this one!
Is this just Pokemon for Vita or is the name just similar?? Sorry if I'm being dumb, never played any of these though.
@wagleton No it's very different, better in some ways, worst in others. But an awesome experience (Digimon World 1, 3 and Decode are awesome)
Looks pretty interesting, although I'm guessing the visuals will be a lot worse on the Vita. Localisation really depends on how well Cyber Sleuth does over here I reckon - here's hoping it's a hit!
Please...please come to PS4. I beg of you. I loved the first Digimon World game, as frustrating as it was. Not sure I can justify buying a Vita just for this.
@Frank90 OK cool I'll delve deeper, see what this is about. I've weirdly been getting more and more into JRPGS the older i get.
@JamieF1 I'd say chances are that it will come to PS4 IF it gets localised. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is a Vita game that's coming to PS4 and Vita in the West, so I'd imagine that this will too. Again, IF it gets localised.
@ShogunRok Ah, okay, thanks for that. If it does come to that, it will be most certainly be a first day but for me.
@JamieF1 same here , gotta support digimon in hopes that it gets more localizations
Nice , I loved Digimon World - I spent many hours roaming the lands a giant poo!
