Digimon Cyber Sleuth

Potentially great news for Digimon fans: Digimon World: Cyber Sleuth could be heading West if an Amazon Canada product listing is to be believed. However, the bad news, at least for Vita owners, is that the game's only listed for release on the PlayStation 4. The title launched in Japan back in February as an exclusive of Sony's handheld system.

So, could it be happening? Well, looking at publisher Bandai Namco's recent localisation track record, it's certainly possible. The game was met with a lot of praise in its native Japan, while Western fans have been begging for an overseas release ever since it was initially revealed.

With Sony's newest home console continuing to sell incredibly well here in the West, we suppose that it would make sense for the publisher to spend money on porting the title and perhaps releasing it worldwide, rather than risking a niche overseas Vita launch. But still, it's a bit of a gut punch for enthusiasts of the sleek portable device.

Do you hope that this is happening, or would you prefer to play it on Vita? Whip out your digivice in the comments section below.
