Jokes were abundant throughout EA's presser, but as a clearly nervous developer pulled a doll made of yarn from his coat pocket, we seriously contemplated turning off the stream - thank goodness things picked up once some gameplay was shown. Unravel looks pretty great, to be frank.
What we're dealing with, it seems, is an artsy platformer with a touching story. Aside from some seriously cute visuals, the actual running and jumping looks to be very solid. You'll need to use your body of yarn to swing about, get past obstacles, and all that fuss. There's a bit of a sad tone to the trailer, with some moody music being played on a piano. We could easily see this one tugging at the heartstrings.

There's no word on a release date just yet, but we know that the game will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. What do you make of it? Tell us a yarn in the comments below.

EA presents: LittleBig Planet
It seems interesting I will give it that. I will at least rent it.
Eh, I love Nintendo platformers but typically don't enjoy them from other developers (save Rayman). Yoshi's Wooly World is enough yarn hype for me.
I'll still keep an eye on the reviews though...
