You may want to hold out for that 1TB PlayStation 4 after all, as Batman: Arkham Knight will eat up a significant chunk of hard drive space. IGN spotted that the game's pre-order page on the PlayStation Store states that you'll need 45.4GB of free space β which is presumably before obligatory day one patches have been added to the mix.
You can, of course, upgrade the stock hard drive in your console fairly easily β and if you want to save cash, you may want to consider the Nyko Databank. Either way, you're not going to want to miss out on Rocksteady's latest release, as it's looking like yet another essential entry in the brooding brand.

I need advice, do I buy a ps4 this weekend or wait 2 weeks and if announced, buy the 1tb model?π
I like Rocksteady but I refuse to support WB's disgusting pre-order practices.
@Neolit You should regret it, it was surprisingly well made, it just wasn't as inovative as the others.
@Hnadeem46 I'd wait till E3, the PS4 isn't going anywhere and if a 1TB model is coming then some retailers might do deals.
Question: my PS4 is nearly full now but should I get a 1TB HDD or bigger?
@adf86 You can use a 2 TB one as well according to some people. It's just that Sony only recommends 1 TB for now I dunno why.
@adf86 @Riririn I actually just upgraded my 500 GB to 2 TB, works very well for me. Not sure why Sony only recommends a 1 TB for now. I installed all 30 physical copy games I own and already have the HDD space down to 700 GB left. Granted I could definitely delete some installs but a 2 TB will definitely have a better long term effect for your PS4
@Glacier928 I bet. I mean GTA 5 needs 55 GIG or something to install, that's bull, I mean I understand why but damn. The space that comes with the system is pretty much useless if you own more than 10 games which I'll probably reach this year. I already got 3 games in just one month since I bought it.
please watch the language -Tasuki-
@adf86 thats so true and yeah a lot of 500gb consoles prices would be reducedπ I would probably go for a 1.5 tb or higher if I was upgrading my hdd other wise you might need to upgrade again π
@adf86 2t games will fill it up fast. If you already feeling the effects of 500gigs then another 500 won't help. Just get the 2T and call it a day. I wish Sony allowed external drives like Microsoft. Then you could just add space to your current drive and not lose anything.
Thank you everyone for your feedback, much appreciated. Seems like 2TB is the way to go.
@Neolit Same here, the GOTY version should be available by Fall 2016 maybe.
I'll probably have to wait longer for the price to drop down to $30 New or cheaper though.
