Star Wars: Battlefront PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Star Wars: Battlefront, the PlayStation 4 first-person shooter in production at DICE, will include 12 multiplayer maps at launch – including Endor, Hoth, and Sullust. Writing as part of a blog post on its official website, the Swedish developer said that there'll be even more locations in the game "when you include the missions". These will be co-operative mini-campaigns, and will presumably be based upon memorable moments from the main trilogy.

Sullust itself is an Icelandic-esque planet, featuring freezing rock formations and bubbling lava. "It's very barren in a beautiful way," lead environment artist Andrew Hamilton explained. "We wanted to create a planet on our own, first trying out different ideas and then deciding on a lava planet," added concept artist Anton Grandert. The illustration embedded above is, admittedly, very cool – we're looking forward to seeing the location in action.
