PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture has actually drummed up quite a lot of hype, despite the fact that we don't know all that much about it. We know that, visually, it looks mighty impressive, but we're still waiting on the details regarding The Chinese Room's weird but supposedly wonderful new-gen adventure.
Fortunately, it may not be too long until we hear all about it. The developer's took to Twitter to say that the title's moved one step closer to its release, teasing us with its juicy insider knowledge. "We are very thrilled, excited & proud to announce that we have officially passed Beta!" it wrote, rather excitedly.
Are you excited to play? Have you ever visited Shropshire in real life? Tell us if you'd like to go back in the comments section below.

Me too, this game looks great.
I must admit this game looks visually impressive and reminiscent of the area I grew up in. Nothing however about the game-play or 'story' though strikes me as impressive. In terms of excitement and entertainment it looks about as thrilling as a leisurely stroll through a deserted 1980's English village. It was bad enough doing this as a 'child' where there was some chance of interaction and/or excitement.
I Cant wait.
.....I can't wait to finally see some gameplay
While I find "the rapture" to be the most ridiculous of end times scenarios, I'm still willing to give a nice post-apocalyptic title a look.
@Quorthon it is a video game dude? Yeah, very much looking forward to it, not sure I'll snap at full price but I really need a relaxing exploration game
This game has a lot of potential in my opinion. I will be keeping tabs on it for sure.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
What does being a video game have to do with anything?
Shropshire isn't too far from me here on the Wirral , I got my wife on the Wales / Shropshire border. !
The game I'm most excited to play right now
@Quorthon you said the rapture is ridiculous and yes it is as are most video game themes
