Dqh II

We don't think anyone saw this one coming: Dragon Quest Heroes II has been officially announced, just seven months after the first game was initially revealed.

The original title launched in Japan back at the end of February, and now, just over a month later, a sequel's been outed. First thought to be an April Fools' Day prank, Square Enix unveiled a teaser site which saw visitors pop 10 million bubbles in order to unmask a surprise, which turned out to be a logo for Dragon Quest Heroes II.

Unlike its predecessor, Dragon Quest Heroes, the assumed action-role playing game will not only come to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 its native Japan, but also to Vita. Meanwhile, here in the West, we're still waiting on a concrete release date for the first game, which will be a PS4 exclusive.

Do you think that this is too soon, or are you more than happy with another colourful Dragon Quest romp? Slay some slimes in the comments section below.
