In a move that most of you will have predicted long ago, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is getting a Game of the Year edition. The package will release on the 8th May, which isn't far away at all.
The product will come bundled with all of the previously released DLC, including The Lord of the Hunt and the Bright Lord story expansions. No price has been given yet, and there's no word on whether it's coming to last-gen consoles as well, but we reckon that this could be a decent time to dive into Mordor and slay some uruk if you haven't already.
Are you interested? Do you think the game deserves a Game of the Year edition? Gather your bodyguards and march into the comments section below.

Does the box art have lots of review quotes on it?
Huh, wasn't this announced a while back? I already preordered one and the date of my ore order is the same. I paid €40 by the way.
How about releasing the Working Game Edition for PS3?
I like GotY and GH editions since I'm always about 2 years behind anyway, lets me get everything at a nice low price.
And considering the over abundance of DLC these days it might soon become the only way I ever buy games.
I'm looking forward to "Arkham Knight: Complete" in a few years. Though I may wait for AK:4K on PS5 for that 1 as I like the look of the initials.

"I love....... But honestly... yeah. 9/10" -Gamespot
"I ONLY PLAYED TWO HOURS!!!" -Also IGN
Insert every accolade ever on the very bottom of the front
I will probably end up picking this up since I have yet to play it.
@B3ND3R LOL
Actually I've only played about 90 minutes of this game myself.
Being a late adoptee is the way to go this gen
@get2sammyb Or "content worth over..."
What! I haven't even played the game more than two hours, and bought it day one! Yep, ol' Jaxon is putting the kabosh on pre orders unless it's a game I KNOW I'm gonna play all the way through, right away.
@get2sammyb
Why don't you preorder it and find out?
Too soon?
Was thinking of picking up Mordor the other day glad I didn't now.
@rjejr Same here, even though I have a job now, I will always prefer waiting 1-2 years for games to drop down to $30 New or cheaper.
(I've been working at the Burger King near me for an entire month now)
I'm hoping for an awesome box art
@ToddlerNaruto Yup, job or no job, buying games day 1 these days is wasting money.
@get2sammyb PLEASE NO MORE D:
I've actually been holding off buying after I borrowed it from a friend, because I thought a bundle edition would be coming out.
Finally I am vindicated.
Why so much hate for this game here anyways?
What happens to your current character or save game of you "install" or run this version? Will it overwrite my previous data or just "upgrade" it to the current content? So far my original SOM is already up to date. It'll suck if it does then you'd have to start all over again..
@AyeHaley Only people who are impatient/can't wait or feel like they have to play the games while they're still popular buy day one.
Also online multiplayer, but I never care about that. Offline single player for me.
middle earth shadow of mordor on ps4 is very awesome to me and it is my 2nd favorite middle earth game ever i love the revolutionary nemesis system it is my 3rd favorite game ever
