There's something funny about Call of Duty publisher Activision turning Guitar Hero Live – the next entry in the storied rhythm series – into a first-person rock-'em-up. However, a leaked report from Yahoo! France suggests that that's exactly what British studio Freestyle Games is about to reveal later today, as it attempts to put players in the Converse shoes of a real on-stage shredder.
Other details, which stem from newspaper Le Monde, suggest that the game will come with a new guitar featuring six black and white notes divided into two rows of three. That actually sounds like a decent idea, as it will demand much more finger movement across the fret board. We're looking forward to seeing more, but we would have preferred a new DJ Hero to be honest.
