"What did you say about my outfit?"

In an announcement that's almost as predictable as blood spillage in a Scorpion versus Sub-Zero bout, NetherRealm's boss Ed Boon has announced that Mortal Kombat X has secured the "biggest launch" in the series' history. "Thank you everyone for making Mortal Kombat X the biggest launch in MK history," he wrote on Twitter. "You made the game far exceed our wildest expectations."

Of course, with big launches come big server problems – and the swift selling sequel hasn't quite secured a Flawless Victory in that department. "We love that so many players want to play Mortal Kombat X, and are working like mad on all of the issues that some of you are experiencing," he continued. "We will fix them."
