You'll be able to Press X to Jason Voorhees sooner than expected, as the Friday the 13th star will be wading into the Mortal Kombat X conflict from 5th May. Those that purchased the Kombat Pass will obtain early access to the character, meaning that everyone else will have to wait a week to get to grips with the hockey mask adorning antagonist.
NetherRealm Studios has promised to host a future stream detailing the new challenger, which you can expect to air the day before release – on 4th May. We rather liked the latest round in Warner Bros' brutal brand, explaining that it's merely "a few scratches short of a flawless victory" in our recent review.

I love how NR handle other characters. Especially what they did with Freddy last time around.
Given the 80's nerdgism that the team obviously has, I wonder if they're trying (or have ever tried) to get Robocop in to the game. I think that would actually work rather well. And a Xenomorph...
