Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's first expansion, Heavensward, will launch this summer, producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed during today's PAX East panel.
Joking about the date, Yoshida explained that he understands many fans will be disappointed that the add-on won't be coming this spring, but he wanted to make it clear that the development team is taking as much time as it can to polish the upcoming product.
You'll be able to pre-order Heavensward from the 16th March, and it comes in a collector's edition, a standard edition, and a bundle, which also includes the base game.

Pre-ordering will also get you in four days early. The CE will get you the griffin flying mount as well as Cecil's helmet and a dragon figurine.
