Borderlands: Claptastic Voyage PS4 PS3 PlayStation

In what we've no doubt will prove a hilarious piece of downloadable content, Gearbox has announced that an all-new campaign – Claptastic Voyage – will be strutting its stuff to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel later this month. Due out from 24th March, the add-on will be available day and date with Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for the PlayStation 4. Don't worry, though, PlayStation 3 fans, as you'll also be able to grab it for Sony's last-gen system, too.

The content promises to bridge the narrative gap between Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2, and will see Handsome Jack searching for a mysterious item hidden within Claptrap's source code. As such, the villain decides to digitise the Vault Hunters and send them inside the robot's brain, where you'll "explore the deepest recesses and furthest corners of Claptrap's mind – his hopes, dreams, and stupidity".

The add-on will also come with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, which will raise the title's Level Cap to 70, and will give each character ten new Skill Points to earn. This all represents the fourth expansion for the 2K Australia co-developed title, which is available for £23.99/$29.99 on the PS3. Meanwhile, all of the content will be free with the PS4 port, which is due out later this month. Are you ready for more lootin' 'n' shootin' fun? Laugh out loud down below.
