Assuming Dragon's Dogma Online's free-to-play model doesn't sour the overall experience, the biggest worry that we have right now is that we'll never actually get to play it — or at least, we won't get to play it in English.
The title's newest screenshots look rather good, showing off some of the monsters that you'll be going toe-to-toe with alongside artificial intelligence-driven allies or actual co-op buddies. It's still looking a heck of a lot like the original Dragon's Dogma, and being an online, cross-platform release means that the visuals certainly aren't the best out there, but given the first title's brilliant atmosphere, we reckon it'll all turn out fine in the end.

This looks really nice, i hope it comes to EU.
Are we 100% certain that these are all in-engine screenshots? A lot of it looks like it could be, but then there're things like the leaping orc in the 3rd screenshot which just don't look like they've come from in game. Can't quite put my finger on it but something just doesn't look quite right, it just seems more like concept art to me than gameplay captures.
@SteveButler2210 I see what you mean, but I think it's partly because it's got a weird kind of motion blur effect. That said, these images could have easily been touched up a bit, but I think they really are in-game.
"alongside artificial intelligence-driven allies or actual co-op buddies.".
Does that mean the pawn system will still be in place? I thought it was very creative.
