This week marks the launch of the new Borderlands: The Pre Sequel DLC, Lady Hammerlock the Baroness, allowing you to play as this icy lady similar to the previously released Handsome Jack. In order to accommodate the latest arrival, an update is required which has been found to have a catch. After downloading, when putting three items of purple rarity into the grinder, the game has the potential to crash.
While Gearbox is working hard to fix this last minute discovery, they advise that players proceed with caution until a fix has been found. Alternatively, when prompted to download the latest update on start-up, you can simply decline to avoid any issues. The drawback? You won't be able to download the latest DLC pack or play online.
