We're only a month away from the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and it seems like developer BioWare is starting to go all out with promotional material for its open world RPG.
After hosting an interesting live stream that featured the game's character creation system, the Canadian studio's gifted us with a new trailer that shows the head of the Inquisition in a more cinematic light. Spliced together from cutscenes, the video makes a good impression, and is chocked full of intense moments as our hero takes the fight to various menacing creatures.
Of course, you'll be free to craft your own hero any way that you want in the full release, but have you already decided on how your lead will look? Tell us all about your class, race, and hilariously bad backstory in the comments section below.

i take it the customization is only for humans, real shame you dont go hawke or grey warden from da o
So hyped up for this. Don't really care what others say, I really loved the first two, and this looks even better.
As for my character, I usually go for something that has some sort of resemblance to myself. However, I'm going to take a different route this time (after discovering how satisfying this can be in Skyrim) and create an elderly gentleman. Someone whom deserves to not just be part of the inqusition, but someone whom would have the experience to lead it. Haven't quite decided on his backstory yet, but that's part of the fun I can look forward to!
@johnny30 You can be any race, not just human!
CLASS: Mage
RACE: Human
BACKSTORY: Morthenial Khafra hails from a powerful Egyptian wizard family. The family surname Khafra, implies that the second pharaoh of Egypt is his ancestor . Egyptian deities, Anubis and Thoth, taught Pharaoh Khafra the art of Egyptian Death Magic for the sole means of protecting Egypt from demonic threats. The Khafra family line carried out this duty for centuries. Because of this, in the mid 1800's, a western family line of magicians with the surname Illenial; merged with the Khafra's to increase power and influence. The union resulted in a child: Merlin's arch-enemy, Mordred. Before Mordred's death, he fathered Morthenial; a child destined to bring peace via a combination of Egyptian and Druid magic. Morthenial's destiny is yet to be written...
Looks good. I have actually been thinking about dusting off the first DA and giving it another go.
What great music.
Ooohhmaaans. This doesn't look very 'next gen' but not that it still looks awesome. Already pre ordered, the other gameplay I've watched looks pretty good, this trailer though is a bit cruddy imo. Also - warning of sexual content? I must have missed that. Anyway, should keep me busy until Witcher 3.
Looks great, cannot wait!
I really looking forward to creating my Qunari Mage (Hopefully they can be a mage)
@artemisthemp They can be - only dwarves can't be mages as far as I know.
@ShogunRok any specific reason?
Never played the older DA's, does that matter if you want to play this one?
@artemisthemp From what I can recall, dwarves tend to live underground near a type of rock that makes them unable to use magic. It's something like that, anyway.
@LDXD did the game age well?
