FIFA 15 fought off its first big competitor for the title this week, remaining at the summit of the UK sales charts – despite the excellent Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor deploying on Friday. The Lord of the Rings spin-off entered in second, netting the biggest ever British launch for a game based on the fantasy franchise. The title shifted most units on the PlayStation 4.
With the arrival of several other exclusives on other formats, Destiny slipped all the way down into fifth, unable to hold onto its Champion’s League position despite the title’s recent loot patch. MineCraft: PlayStation Edition shot back up the charts ahead of the blockbuster’s physical PS4 release, which is due out this week in the UK. Expect it to climb even higher next time, then.
Elsewhere, there’s not a lot to shout about. The Last of Us Remastered and inFAMOUS: First Light are both still clinging onto a Top 40 position, but we’re not sure how long the latter’s going to last with Alien: Isolation and DriveClub right around the corner. While you wait for an answer, you can peruse this week's full list of movers and shakers through here.

( liking the horde reference ) . talking of fifa , does anyone else find martin tyler's ridicolous pronounciation of "hEh-rare-ah" annoying ? (and last years behb-ah- tov) grrrr...!
The commentating has always been horrendous. I've barely touched shadow of Mordor, just started it up to see the intro etc, I'll be giving it a good go tonight, I don't think I've played Fifa in a week, its very much a casual game for me, I can't see it staying at the top until maybe dragon age, far cry or CoD.
Shadow of mordor is a beast.
Well fifa sounds great too, too bad vita version doesn't do well
