Evergreen game

Not even a clicker could remove The Last of Us Remastered from the UK sales charts summit this week, as Naughty Dog’s next-gen port has maintained its place at the top of the best sellers list. In truth, there was very little in the way of competition, with Watch Dogs and FIFA 14 holding the top three spots.

Elsewhere, Grand Theft Auto V hijacked fourth position on the back of retailer promotions, while The LEGO Movie Video Game dropped two spots into sixth. Mojang’s indie smash Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition continued to succeed in seventh, as military shooters Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and Sniper Elite III rounded out the top ten.

The only other interesting change in the chart was that the PlayStation 3 version of The Last of Us actually re-entered the Top 40 on the back of discounts designed to coincide with the next-gen version.
