inFAMOUS: First Light may not be attaining quite the same publicity as Sony’s other first-party titles right now, but it sounds like a seriously meaty slice of side content. In addition to a four hour single player campaign that plots the return of street savvy conduit Fetch, it will also boast Battle Arenas with a leaderboard focus, which solves the core title’s replay value problem.
These will essentially see you battling D.U.P. troops from within Augustine’s private prison facility, Curdun Cay – and if you own inFAMOUS: Second Son, you’ll be able to beat your best scores as either Fetch or Delsin Rowe. Using the latter will allow you to combine multiple power sets, but the former has the advantage of a more focused roster of neon skills.
And these are teased in the trailer below, with the pink-haired protagonist's melee attacks being particularly acrobatic. She can also suck cars and other everyday items into giant power bombs, which cause mass damage when they explode. And lastly, traversal is no longer a case of holding a single button and sprinting away, as you’ll now need to navigate through neon gas clouds to maintain your momentum.
I really enjoyed second son, best game so far on ps4 for me. I've no reason to go back and play tidbits though so I'll pass.
Hmmm 4 hours? That's better than I hoped for. Maybe I'll get this day one. We'll see!
@ztpayne7 Their is also a Platinum
I've got this on pre-order off the PSN Store, looking forwards to it.
