Gamescom 2014: Here's Your First Look at Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Multiplayer

Blink and you'll miss it

If you didn’t tune in to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s live competitive multiplayer reveal, then you’ll have missed out on some awkward developer smack talk. You’ll also have skipped on your very first look at the online mode in action. Fortunately, we’ve included the title’s three minute reveal in the space below. Don’t say that we don’t ever do anything for you.

This year’s game is designed all around the Exo Suit, which allows you to boost around maps faster than the Road Runner from a Looney Tunes cartoon. There’s also a heavy emphasis on player personalisation, meaning that you’ll be able to tailor the experience to your personal tastes. Do you like what you see? @XFsWorld They fused COD with titanfall. There is nothing new if you've played both of them games.

I didn't play ghost because of what I read about it, but I do like most of the call of duty games. I mainly buy CoD for multiplayer, I really don't care much for the campaign for FPS games, it's mainly MP for me. So with that being said, I am very excited to get my hands on this game when it releases for the PS4, it's going to be awesome.

Some people don't want to admit that they like CoD, but I really don't care. I like a lot of FPS games out there and CoD is one of them.

@XFsWorld There's a lot of new features here, but the BIG overall change is in the movement...it's a lot faster and more vertical with the dash abilities and boost-jumping. The easiest comparison is to the parkour/dash elements of Titanfall, except the exo's abilities can be used instantly.

The other big change is supposed to be the level of customization for your multiplayer character, whereas in the past you could only unlock a couple dozen preset skins or, at best, have a fully-customized playercard.
