There’s enough doom on Planet PlayStation Vita to keep id Software in business until the sun implodes, but that doesn’t mean that the handheld is dead yet. In fact, 5pb has quietly announced that the system’s mere days away from receiving a secret smash: pixelated punch-‘em-up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds.
Originally released in Japan earlier this year, the title will deploy on the North American PlayStation Store on 29th July, with the European edition breaking free on 30th July. There’s no word on pricing just yet, or whether any of the game’s DLC will make its way overseas, but the publisher promises additional information soon. In the meantime, check out the title’s zany Japanese trailer below.
