If time flies when you’re having fun, then you may be in for a slightly longer week this time around. While there are a few new releases worthy of your attention over the coming days, we’re very much amid the slow summer months now. That means that you’re going to need to fill your time with digital downloads rather than big blockbuster games – or you could make a start on that backlog, which seems to be getting bigger with every passing day.
Pick of the Week: MouseCraft
Primed and ready for puns, MouseCraft is a cheesy puzzler that combines the very best of Tetris, Lemmings, and NES classic Krusty’s Fun House [Remember that one? – Ed]. Developed by Polish outfit Crunching Koalas, the relentless rodent-based release sees you manipulating Tetrominos in order to guide your blind mice to the cheddar at the end of each stage.
If you don’t give an Edam about the game yet, it’s certainly worth pointing out that this affair supports cross-buy, meaning that you’ll be able to enjoy its creamy gameplay across multiple Sony machines. We recently got some hands-on time with the whiffy affair and described it as pure, unadulterated “dairy glee”, so you feta give it a go when it matures later this week. Sorry.

What about Ratchet and Clank for US or did they end up canceling the NA release?
Mousecraft for me - been looking forward to it for a while!
I'm looking forward finishing Season One of The Wolf Among Us and MouseCraft looks interesting so I might get that too.
@AG_Awesome No word on a date yet. I very much doubt it's cancelled, though.
I really liked the first 3 episodes of The Wolf Among Us but felt episode 4 was a bit of a let down. It wasn't bad by any means I just didn't feel it was as strong as the rest.
I really hope episode 5 doesn't disappoint.
@get2sammyb it's very disconcerting how quiet they've been... I dread them pulling a DD only to try and weasel some memory card sales.
@AG_Awesome The whole treatment of Ratchet & Clank at times has been weird for years. The way they announced the HD remake of the original for PS4 was also very odd. I think I remember the HD Trilogy on PS3 coming out in Europe ages before the US, too. Just really strange...
Hate these quiet summer months. Absolutely idiotic schedulinng from publishers again and again. Im just waiting for astebreed on ps4, hope it hits soon
I had Krustys Fun House on the SNES, loved that game, and it was one of the few console games for The Simpson's that wasn't a complete turd (I'm looking at you, Barts Nightmare...)
It's about time episode 5 came out!
