At Microsoft's official E3 press conference it was revealed that the DLC for Turtle Rock's upcoming title Evolve will launch on Xbox One first. What's more, the game's official beta will be exclusive to the console. This comes soon after the news that Sony fans will also be left in the lurch when it comes to the presumably extensive downloadable suite that will be attached to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The multiplayer shooter sees a team of four intrepid adventurers attempting to topple a player controlled monster that slowly grows larger and more menacing as the match progresses. We played the game at a preview event earlier in the year, and thoroughly enjoyed our time with it. You can find our impressions through here.

If the beta is exclusive, it's not really a beta but a demo. I never understood why developers keep on calling these betas when they are demos, there really isn't much more to it then that. If the beta isn't coming to the PS4, then it's a demo, not a beta. For developers that don't know this, BETA means trial, trials for whatever they are doing so they can fix the servers, and more bugs which means a much more polished game.
Anyway, I really don't see what's so great about this game as I never really heard of it until just now. hmmmmm
All this exclusive dlc and beta crap really cheeses me off to be honest, just release them all at the same time. We should we, the consumer, be made to wait just because MS always want to be perceived as being the game company with the biggest wang...
I don't know why Microsoft wastes money on timed dlc. It's not going to make me switch from ps4 to xbox 3. But if sony doesn't start adding ps3 features to the ps4 interface I might pick up an xbox 3 simply for the entertainment options.
Pretty sucky because I'm really eager to play this but I can wait. Its just slightly annoying. It will be funny if the game ends up looking better on ps4 anyway, if the games are identical then rats will be smelt.
I don't think this is a problem at all. If we couldn't get the game that would be a big issue for me but not getting beta access or early DLC is the least of my concerns. It certainly doesn't help me at all but it might help others to know that the Destiny beta is exclusive to PS4 so Xbox fans won't be getting that.
25 out of the 28 games shown at sonys conference are exclusives in some way so they can have this one
