The road to E3

Everyone's favourite publisher EA plans on showing off six new games at this year's E3, the ever-knowledgeable Geoff Keighly has revealed on Twitter. The Spike TV star also promises that EA's one hour press conference will have full coverage when it begins at 12PM PST on 9th June.

Of course, speculation has already begun at the Push Square offices regarding the titles that will be shown. Outside of Star Wars: Battlefront, which was confirmed to be at the show by CEO Andrew Wilson during a recent financial call, the rest of the line-up remains something of a mystery. We'd take a guess that BioWare's newest entry into the Mass Effect franchise will make some sort of appearance, as well as highly anticipated sequel, Mirror's Edge 2. And of course, it's probably safe to assume that a couple of these reveals will be sports-related, but the mention of such a beefy number of new games has certainly got us eager to see what the mega publisher has in store.

What would you like to see EA lift the curtain on? Are there any franchises that you'd like to see make a return this year, or are you hoping for something completely new? Build your hype to foolish levels in the comments section below.
