Girl power

The Last of Us is certainly not a game intended for children, but its themes are very family orientated. The relationship that builds between protagonist Joel and Ellie in the core campaign will always be best appreciated by parents, while we suspect that almost all adults will be able to relate to the deep bond displayed between the aforesaid teenager and her best friend Riley in the recent Left Behind expansion.

With that in mind, our friends over at Family Gamer TV have put together a must watch analysis of the recent downloadable chapter, which discusses some of the themes in the title from a more mature family member perspective. There’s also a nice little crossover between the main game and the add-on, which shows how the stories intertwine. Naturally, it goes without saying that you shouldn’t watch this if you haven’t already played the title. If you have, though, enjoy.
