Watch Dogs

While there hasn’t been a software drought in the traditional sense, the PlayStation 4 has coasted through a couple of slow months since its launch late last year. Fortunately, that’s all set to change next week with the arrival of inFAMOUS: Second Son and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. There’s going to be no shortage of content during the spring either, with MLB 14: The Show and Watch Dogs on the way – but will the latter be long enough to keep you occupied until Destiny?

Responding to that exact query on Twitter, creative director Jonathan Morin revealed that he expects average players to spend around 35 to 40 hours with the title before seeing it through to its hacktastic conclusion. However, he added that those looking to completely clear their save file may need to keep the open world escapade connected to their next-gen system for anywhere up to 100 hours.

Earlier today, it was revealed that publisher Ubisoft actually expanded the game during its delay. The title will now feature extra scenes that focus on human trafficking and sexual violence – an addition responsible for increasing the release’s rating in Australia.
