We’re not ones to dictate what people should and shouldn’t like; we cast our opinion on the quality of PlayStation games, but would never force you to think in a specific way. And we extend that sentiment to everything that we do, as we believe that it’s down to you to make up your own mind about the industry and the issues that surround it. Nevertheless, if you do happen to pick up this Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain statue, we'd strongly advise that you don't put it on display.
Series creator Hideo Kojima uploaded the embedded image in high spirits earlier today, which depicts an action figure of divisive sniper Quiet from the upcoming game. Despite causing a furore at the end of last year, it looks like the controversial developer has kept the character’s contentious outfit intact. In fact, the attention obsessed director still maintains that there’s a reason for the heroine’s skimpy attire, with many speculating that she’ll possess photosynthesis powers similar to The End from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
Now try explaining that one to the women that work in your office when you place this proudly on your desk.

Hmmm. Wonder what the the other side is like.
I could swear he said that he was making some characters more erotic to boost figurine sales. I don't think there's much escaping what he did here.
@Wesker a cape and enblazened across it 'suffragettes unite'
Lol Yeah I hope her outfit isn't arbitrary, but why would she have The End's power? Cause Sniper Wolf had photosynthesis too, right? No, I'm sure it has to do with something novel and unique and surprising, like Kojima's known for. Her nylons would be in unwearable condition btw. That crap snags easily. And holster-sores, anybody?
I don't see a problem with it. It looks nice, and I'd happily display it. I don't understand why people get so up in arms over a little bit of eroticism towards the female form. If you've got something beautiful and people like it, then show it off. Women are an incredible side of the human race, and it's only natural that males like to enjoy their figures.
I know there's a lot of hate going around for how woman are portrayed in games, but there's plenty of heroines in games and lately there's been a lot of female leads that barely show anything, so what's wrong with a bit of skin now and again. Women like to look at men in all their glory, so there should be no uproar about men liking to look at women. A woman may get mad because she feels that you're objectifying a woman because of how she looks, but that's not true. The female form is a sight to behold, just like the wonders of the world and I don't think they mind too much about you gawping at them, and certainly don't care if you don't "like them for their personality".
This is silly. The same women you speak of have played with their bikini Barbie dolls.
Please don't go to the beach neither they are everywhere...These mindless, society killing bikini top monsters.
Looks like a cool figure, I am so pumped for metal gear ground zeroes and phantom pain.
I honestly don't understand the furore over Quiet's design. She's not the first female character to wear a skimpy attire.
See - the entire history of comics and videogames.
I think people just love ripping into Kojima because he's a controversial figure - much like David Cage.
