It’s probably a good thing that the PlayStation 4 isn’t a superhero, as we reckon that the supercharged device would resemble more than a match for inFAMOUS: Second Son’s plucky protagonist Delsin Rowe. A handful of launch titles have already demonstrated how much power lead architect Mark Cerny's packed into the next generation platform – and now a GDC presentation fronted by first-party outfit Sucker Punch aims to school developers on how to squeeze even more juice out of the recently released machine.
“Have you ever wanted to make an urban open world superhero game?” an online blurb for the programming session asks. “Push boundaries on emotive cutscenes? Render awesome particle effects? Or maybe you just want to make your game really cool on the PS4? In this talk, we'll describe how Sucker Punch designed the inFAMOUS: Second Son engine to take advantage of the power of the PS4.”
There’s no date or time attached to the session just yet, but GDC 2014 is set to take place between the 17th and 21st March at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco. Attendees at the abovementioned panel are expected to come away with an “idea of how inFAMOUS: Second Son's engine works and numerous tips on optimizing game engines for the PS4”. Even better, they’ll actually be able to buy the game by the end of the event, as the release's due out globally on 21st March.

Bravo Sucker punch!!! Pre-ordered last month!!! =) Love the effort u guys are putting into it!!!
I would imagine the session will be on the 17th, since the game will come out on the 21st, the day owning a PS4 really becomes worth it.
I hope a PS4 inFamous Bundle is announced beforehand. This game wil truly make the PS4 worth buying this early on.

I can't wait. I've actually pre-ordered the Special Edition of Second Son and a PS4 separately; but this bundle looks awesome!
On topic; the Sucker Punch talk should be interesting. I can't wait to hear about their impressions of the PS4 hardware - and how much juice Second Son is actually using.
