Last month, Namco Bandai released a brand new trailer for its upcoming HD compilation of classic titles Tales of Symphonia and its successor, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. The collection is being released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series.
The company has revealed that there will be a special collector's edition available when the game launches, which will include both HD versions of the aforementioned games, five chibi figurines, a multi-disc soundtrack, and a paperback novel detailing the incidents that happened between the first title and its sequel. But get ready to dig deep into your pockets, as it'll set you back $100.
This attractive collection will only be available in Japan and North America, with no word on a European announcement at the time of writing. There will only be 15,000 copies on offer at select retailers when the game arrives in 2014, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for one, and let us know in the comment section below if you'll be on the lookout next year.

Considering getting this just for being able to play for the original for the first time but I kinda over played Dawn of the New World.
Gotta love chibi Emil and Marta figurines. =3
That a insanely nice Collector's Edtion, which makes me worry that EU maybe get cheat again, just like they did with Tales of Xillia
is this available for pre order anywhere yet?
No thanks. I think I'm done with Collector's editions. This one does look nice for those who are getting it, though.
nice
Looks cool, but I never go for stuff like this.
I hope I have the money to just get the game. I'm usually only able to get 2-4 new games a year (as in brand new), and I know SSB3DS, KH 2.5, & Bravely Default probably take priority for me. Hopefully it'll be a good year for me, though.
Wow the second I heard about this I called my local Gamestop and asked if they had it available. The guy said yes and I rushed right over after class. Thanks so much for putting this on the site as I had to miss out on the Xillia collectors edition and it was quite a bummer >.<
