Blast 'em Bunnies

We hope that you don’t have a fondness for rabbits, because Blast ‘Em Bunnies wants you to take as many of the energetic blighters down as possible. The latest release from escapeVektor developer Nnooo fuses tower defence with on-rails action, as you mow down hordes of colourful (but supposedly evil) critters, collecting crop-inspired ammunition along the way.

“The longer that you play, the more difficult survival becomes,” explained creative director Nic Watt. “But it’s not just your own mortality that you’re concerned with. You also need to deal with the throat slitter, who is holding your baby bunnies hostage. He’ll pop up every now and again with one of your little ‘uns. Kill him quickly and the baby bunny escapes. If you’re not quick enough – well, I really don’t want to talk about it...”

As you progress through the release, you’ll earn in-game cash which you’ll be able to invest into weapon upgrades and special bullets such as heat-seeking chilli seeds. The game’s due out next year on the PlayStation 4 and Vita. You can check out the title’s debut trailer below – assuming that you can cope with all of the cutesy carnage.
