Assassin's Creed III: Liberation HD

While the PlayStation exclusive content in next week’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will allow you to further the narrative of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation’s protagonist Aveline, you’ll be able to re-explore the origins of the heroine’s story early next year in the high-definition port of the former PlayStation Vita exclusive.

Posting on the North American PlayStation Blog, producer Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov confirmed that the spin-off will be switching its costume on Sony’s current generation console from 14th January in the Land of the Free. The enhanced re-release will include overhauled visuals, tweaked missions, and more. It’ll set you back just $19.99.

We enjoyed the latest handheld instalment in Ubisoft’s historical series, but thought that it lacked polish in a lot of areas. Hopefully the developer’s managed to tidy up the title ahead of its second spell in the spotlight. Whether you’ll be in the mood for more Assassin’s Creed after eighty hours of Black Flag, though, remains to be seen.
