Whoa, There Are Now Eight Million Levels in LittleBigPlanet

If, like this flustered author, you don’t have time to play half of the games that you own, then you may want to steer clear of LittleBigPlanet. While we’d recommend all of the entries in the whimsical do-it-yourself franchise, it is possible to have too much of a good thing. And the fact that the series is celebrating an incredible eight million community levels this evening is causing us to break out into cold sweats.

It’s true that not all of those stages will deserve your attention, but even if only 0.5 per cent of the levels are worth playing, that’s still an unbelievable 40,000 custom creations vying for your attention. We suppose that that’s great if you’ve got nothing else to play, but we could do without adding the output of a few thousand creator curators to our already bulging backlog.
