Following this week’s teaser, EA Games has officially steered details regarding Need for Speed: Rivals online. The new racer – which is due out on 19th November on the PlayStation 3 and “later this year” on the PlayStation 4 – is in development at Ghost Games, the studio formerly known as EA Gothenburg. It’s being produced in conjunction with Criterion Games, and will take advantage of the Frostbite 3 engine.
The title aims to combine the “intensity of the street’s ultimate rivalry between cops and racers”, and will allow you to seamlessly switch between single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay. The action will take place in the fictitious setting of Redview County, where you’ll be able to totally personalise your experience with custom license plates, paint jobs, liveries, decals, and more. Check out the teaser trailer embedded below for an early glimpse at the sequel in motion.

pretty, hasn't there already been a Need For Speed Rivals game? I think it was the PSP version of Underground Have they ran out of names for NFS games?
I've always love NFS games, there my fav. racers next to Burnout and Gran Turismo. So far, the PS4 is getting some strong driving games
@hydeks Yeah, it was a PSP game. And yes, they do seem to have run out of names!
no mention of body kits..........omg seriously EA just give us an underground 3 for crying out loud. Honestly the last game that allowed us to customize body kits on the cars was either carbon or at least undercover..........
