
For an agent that’s supposed to rely on stealth, you’d think that Sam Fisher would have the foresight to switch off his night-vision goggles when not in use. This brand new trailer for the upcoming Splinter Cell: Blacklist shows the aforementioned protagonist hiding in the shadows, but we’re not sure how he doesn't get spotted with three gigantic green beacons protruding from his head. Talk about an amateur.

I believe I read that the green lights on his goggles are just there for identification in game. They don't really glow. If you look in a mirror in...I think Chaos Theory, you see that they don't glow.
Generally not my sort of game, and I am unlikely to pick this up, but I am a sucker for stealth games, so I will keep and eye on this one. Will be interested to see some actual game play.
Oh, and yeah I am pretty sure that night vision goggle don't glow in real life. Agree that although it looks cool and would be useful for character identification, its pretty silly to have a beacon on your head when you are trying to hide in the shadows. Not sure they thought that one through...
