Sony is set to yank Studio Japan’s fascinating two-dimensional platformer Puppeteer onto the PlayStation 3 on 10th September. Art director Gavin Moore confirmed the date during a presentation at GDC overnight, where he also revealed that the title will be available as both a retail release and a digital download. It's unclear whether the game will be a full price product, or a little cheaper like Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
The title was originally announced at GamesCom last year, but has been in development behind the scenes for quite a while. It sees you take control of a boy-turned-wooden-puppet who’s been sent on a quest to put a stop to the Moon Bear King. Just so that you're up to date, we’ve included the game’s most recent trailer in the space below. Looks good, doesn’t it?

Good? No. Brilliant? Yes.
Darn! I was hoping this would also be on the PS Vita.
@Lionhart I've been saying that Puppeteer is a perfect fit for Vita, since I watched the first trailer.
Definitely getting this. Looks fantastic.
@IAmNotWill Agreed!
@TheRealBatman I know right? It looks a lot like LittleBigPlanet in terms of layout and design. I don't see why it can't be on the PS Vita.
