Bungie’s reluctance to share actual gameplay footage of its upcoming PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 title Destiny continues with this ‘character development’ video. The short – which was shown during a GDC presentation overnight – introduces three of the character classes from the first-person shooter, in addition to a bunch of aliens.
In truth, the art direction is definitely growing on us. We’re just a little frustrated with the manner in which the Halo creator has opted to reveal this project. Wouldn’t it have been better waiting until it actually had a proper trailer to show? We’ve still only seen about 30 seconds of actual gameplay since the title’s reveal over a month ago.

The distinct lack of gameplay is getting to me too, but I'm liking some of the designs so far. Also, in the trailer we see three supposed character classes: Titan, Warlock and Hunter. Are we seriously still basing gameplay on warriors, mages and rogues? Even if they have guns? Just seems like something that should have been outdone decades ago.
I think it's hilarious that bungie made a big deal about how they wanted to do something different and that's why they stopped doing halo..... But instead of a circle around earth, it's a ball over earth? And the character models look an awful lot like the enemies from halo, and the player models are all armored. I'm just saying, this could have looked exactly the same and been called halo mmo and no one would think twice.
@lvnlavitaloca I think it's hilarious that they want to take the FPS genre and "turn it on it's head again". When did they turn it on it's head the first time?
Only time will tell, but I am still excited about the possibility of his game.
Personally, I love the Halo games and the art style, so Destiny having a distinctive "Bungie Look" is a plus...and I'm eagerly looking forward to more infos about this game...will get it on PS4, though...lately, MS generated more and more "meh moments" for me.
And I agree...it does look more like Star Wars than Halo...at least the human characters.
