PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has had some trials and tribulations since launch, with early price cuts reflecting low sales and Sony dropping developer SuperBot entertainment. We loved it in our review, but time will tell whether a sequel ever sees the light of day.
On the plus side, the fun isn't over for fans of the title, with IGN getting the scoop on the latest round of DLC to arrive on both the PS3 and Vita versions on 19th March. There'll be two new characters — Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space series and Zeus from God of War, of course. Perhaps most intriguingly there'll be a new stage that'll look like a crossover between MediEvil and The Unfinished Swan; with the latter being one of the most visually striking download titles out there, we're certainly interested in seeing how that turns out.
In terms of how the characters will play, IGN states from its time with the characters that Isaac is most like those such as Jak and Nathan Drake, while Zeus is a powerhouse similar in style to Big Daddy. We'll see for ourselves on 19th March, though no pricing details have been provided yet.
So, are any of you likely to pick up these extras for some additional brawling?

Zeus is coming to All-Stars?? Brb, going to jump around like a little school girl.
glad to see they are still adding new characters even though they dropped superbot now all we need is Tidus from FFX and Zidane form FFIX (those are from 2 of the 3 Final Fantasy games that are PlayStation exclusives FF9, FF10 and FF12 all the others have been on other platforms)
Any idea on a price point for this one? I don't want to assume it's free the first two weeks.
Free for first two weeks I hope?
@ztpayne7 all the info is here

That stage is the first good thing I've seen about his game. Shame that they're just adding more third party characters, mind. Surely Sony have some characters worthy of inclusion?!
@Majin-Naruto: It's not like having been PlayStation exclusive is actually a requirement...
@Majin-Naruto I didn't see information for it there? All I saw was the minion dlc.
Isaac Clarke, you will be mine!
Issac is a neat addition, Zeus is a bit meh imo.
Surely after the PS4 reveal it would have made sense to announce Knack and the main guy from inFAMOUS: Second Son would be coming out as DLC characters? Start building up hype and get people familiar with them.
It's nice to see some attention for Unfinished Swan. I hope they'll port it to Vita soon so I can play it. I've heard it's an awesome game.
So...this game isnt selling?? Thats a surpise. I figured this would be a good seller, ive been wanting this so bad since release day.Ive been hyped up for it.
Why is this not selling good, is a mystery to me.
once it goes down to 29.99 Im scooping this up faster than you can say ps4.
@odd69 Because people have played it and realised it's terrible. I know I keep banging on about this but this was SUCH a missed opportunity and no wonder the company was dissolved so quickly.
@rastamadeus - Having Knack and Delsin Rowe as DLC would actually be a really good idea, for the reasons you've already listed. I would also add the protagonist of Killzone: Shadow Fall, and levels/characters based on Puppeteer, Soul Sacrifice, The Last of Us, Rain, Tearaway, and (maybe) The Witness & Beyond: Two Souls. It would build awareness for these upcoming games, which wouldn't exactly hurt Sony.
Still, it's good to see this game is still being supported, despite SuperBot's departure
