Those of you that own a copy of Borderlands 2 can currently stump up $29.99 for the title’s Season Pass. This guarantees access to all four of the first-person shooter’s expansion packs – but Gearbox gaffer Randy Pitchford has teased that there’s plenty more to come.
"We will have other, non-season pass related DLC," he told Kotaku. "The additional character [Mechromancer] is one kind of example."
He continued: "Since we finished the game, we've started with some new ideas that we expect will show up in DLC. Some new vehicle types are on-deck – awesome stuff."
The Season Pass, though, will be reserved for the biggest and best content. "The stuff we're planning and working on for the Season Pass is big DLC stuff – more like [original Borderlands expansion The Secret Armoury of General] Knoxx," Pitchford hinted. "We're extremely far along with the first campaign DLC. The second DLC is also in amazing shape. The third DLC is a little farther out and the fourth DLC is just in the pre-concept stages."
It only came out last week – but who’s ready for more Borderlands, then?

still playing the main game, but I can't wait for my free mechromancer, and for the dlc's to come! The games even more addictive and fun than the first, and I NEVER thought that could happen lol
just completed the main story
Borderlands 2 Challenges > Borderlands 1 Challenges. Love upping my Badass Rank and reaping rewards of far more consequence than mere experience!
I got my Season Pass, Mecromancer won't cost me, and I'll take anything else they offer as it comes...probably be worth it. Love this game!
All the more reason for me to wait for a GOTY edition.
