
Strange PlayStation Vita not-quite-sequel-but-not-quite-remake of Nintendo Wii smash Little King’s Story is marching into North America on 2nd October, publisher Konami has announced.
The game – appropriately titled, er, New Little King’s Story – boasts a brand new storyline, online functionality, and enhanced Vita specific front and rear touch controls.
“New Little King's Story follows players as they assume the role of King Corobo, tasked with reclaiming his kingdom from the Devil King, The Nightmare,” the official press release notes. And we thought the English monarchy had a bad reputation...

@Squiggle55: As of right now it looks like it will only be available through the PlayStation Store. Shame because I really wanted to own a retail copy of this.

Seriously, I've been checking for info on this game's release for a few months now. I THOUGHT XSeed was publishing it...and would release at retail...and now it's Konami and download only? What the heck? I'm sure this game, being originally DESIGNED for retail, is going to be on the large side file-size-wise, too. Ugh.
