Anyone that’s contributed to LittleBigPlanet’s gigantic 7 million stage roster should give themselves a humongous pat on the back. Go on, get on with it – we’ll wait. Feeling all warm and fuzzy inside? Good, let’s continue.
Media Molecule’s revealed on its official blog that the milestone was reached just as Usain Bolt was ripping up the record books in London last night. According to the developer’s juicy infographic, a whopping 37,641 levels were published in the last week. That’s 5,377 levels per day, or 3.7 levels per minute.
Apparently, it would take Sackboy 21 years to run through each of the creations. But even if you assumed that only 1% of the user generated levels were worth playing, that still results in an impressive 70,000 stages. And with LittleBigPlanet Karting and LittleBigPlanet Vita on the horizon, that number’s only going to grow and grow.

An incredible achievement for a wonderful franchise. Can't wait for LBP Vita and Karting.
That's crazy.
Can you play said stages on the Vita version?
I'm new to LBP and don't know much... ._.
@Shadow100 I don't think you can. All of the costumes will work in the Vita version, but I think they decided to keep the stages separate due to control issues.
