Out in the open
Splinter Cell: Blacklist couldn’t be more predictable if it tried. Don’t get us wrong, the game looks good – but we can’t say we were surprised to see this narrated mission end with a UAV sequence. Remember when that was considered a revolutionary gameplay mechanic? Yeah, us neither.

It's like you said, the game looks good and polished, but it's really hard to get excited for this kind of gameplay these days. We've seen it a billion times before by this point in time.
