Danica Patrick is in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Our favourite SEGA character Danica Patrick is set to make a cameo in Sumo Digital’s upcoming crossover kart racer, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. For some reason, the NASCAR driver will be a playable character alongside favourite faces such as B.D. Joe and Beat. She’ll drive a series of customised vehicles designed specifically for the game.

Emphasising the cross-marketing synergy, SEGA also announced that Danica Patrick will be driving a custom Sonic the Hedgehog Chevrolet during the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge on 3rd November.

Danica Patrick said of the team-up:

It's a very exciting experience since I'll be sharing the screen with such an iconic character. I cannot wait for gamers to jump into my customized, transformable vehicles and give Sonic a run for his rings this holiday season.
